From Autumn 2025, there’ll be a new rule coming in – if you’re a company director, a Person with Significant Control (PSC), or someone who files company records, you’ll need to verify your identity with Companies House.

Starting a new company? You’ll do this as part of the setup. Already running a business? Don’t worry – there will be a 12-month window to get it sorted once the changes kick in.

The exact start date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we’ll keep you in the loop. As your accountants, we’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
